Yin yoga is a deep release of the 'issues in our
tissues'. When we breathe deeply and allow the body and mind
to release, we create space for wisdom to occur.
Throughout this yin class of long-held passive stretches, the
wisdom of the Yoga Sutras or the Tao Te Ching will be woven
throughout the class. Afterwards, we will journal about how
these Sutras reflect in our lives and follow with a community
discussion. This is a beautiful way to understand these ancient
teachings and how relevant and helpful they are, as they are the
basis of the Mindfulness movement!
