<p>Instead of making resolutions - which encourage us to change something that doesn't necessarily mean anything or have any personal relevance in order to find happiness - we will learn to create a <em>sankalpa</em>, or intention, to shape the new year and draw us closer to our truest self. Meditation, pranayama and strong flowing asana practices will be used to purify the body, become clear on what makes the heart sing, and build prana or life force, creating space within to dream big.</p>

<p>Using movement and breath to get grounded and centered, to move through difficult things, and set intentions for who you'd like to become and how we'd like to grow - this workshop will acknowledge and begin to release the darkness you've already endured and prepare the body and mind to embrace the light in the midst of the cold!
