We pull ourselves about the earth with the assistance, resistance, and sometimes, neutrality of gravity. Organized around the vertebral column and pelvis, our neuromusculoskeletal system works to keep our bodies intact and under control. The more we learn about the axial body, from its structure, articular directions and ranges of motion, the more we will be able to use this info to create comfortable, sustainable asana. During this 3-hour class, Mary guides us through a series that explores the regional, transitional, and kinetic attributes of the body’s organizing vertebral axis and pelvic locomotion engine. She will also share ways to modify some fundamental movements for several common spinal conditions.

Please note: This Workshop is open to vaccinated folks. Please wear your mask in common areas until you are on your yoga mat. Thank you for your understanding.
