<p>This Beginner Workshop Series is designed to meet the needs of those who are new to yoga or those who want to get back to basics. In a light-hearted and supportive atmosphere, this four-week series will explore the fundamentals of yoga, including: safe alignment for foundational poses, different breathing techniques, connecting breath to movement, utilizing props and modifications, relaxation techniques, discussion of mindfulness, honoring the body, and intro to yoga philosophy.</p>
<p>Led by Gretchen Allen, she encourages students to remember flexibility is not a requirement, it is an outcome. Practice compassion for self in your practice and offer that to others. </p>
