<p>New motherhood can be a magical and transformative time. It can also be really, really, really, hard: physically, emotionally, and spiritually. And taking care of a little one carries its own challenges that echo in your body.</p>
<p>This workshop, led by physical therapist, yoga instructor, and new mama Ellese Nickles PT, DPT, RYT, will support your postpartum journey. We will:</p>
<p>+ emphasize recovery of postural strength and stability<br />+ modify for common postpartum issues, including pelvic pain and diastasis recti<br />+ target your tight neck, shoulders, and back pain<br />+ learn to rehabilitate and reinhabit areas most affected by pregnancy, childbirth, and new parenthood<br />+ end each session with restorative postures, myofascial release techniques, and guided deep relaxation</p>
<p>Above all, this workshop will allow you space to reconnect to yourself as a whole being while honoring the postpartum experience, no matter how long ago. You'll leave with a handout detailing simple exercises to incorporate into daily life to support you in caring for yourself and your baby, toddler, or child.</p>
<p>Ellese will bring coffee and tea to enjoy as you connect with other new parents.</p>
