<p>"Advanced yoga is not advanced asana, but advanced awareness."<br /><br />Hot Hour for Awareness builds on our standard hot practices. Each week we'll take a few minutes to learn the breath/energy movement (Prana and Vayus), hand placement/form (Mudra), focal gaze/point (Drishti), meridians, glandular benefits, and alignment for a different posture. We will then practice our hot sequence, giving extra attention to that posture, where it falls in the sequence, and how it is affected by the postures before and after. This class is perfect for those new to hot classes as well as experienced students looking to deepen the effectiveness of asana (physical postures).</p>
