This therapeutic yoga series invites you to explore your relationship to stress, embodiment, and rest. Each session will explore a different dimension of chronic stress and overwhelm, blending neurophysiology, yoga philosophy, embodied social change, and trauma-informed yoga practices. This session will focus less on theory and more on yoga based practices to support navigating stress and overwhelm.
This 4 week series, led by Yoga Therapist Kat Owens, is beneficial for all of us navigating life within a pandemic, but might be especially supportive for those working in fields of service (personal or professional) and healthcare. No yoga or mindfulness experience necessary. Please bring a notebook and pen. This offering will take place in the studio and is limited to 10 fully vaccinated participants - sign up early to reserve your spot!
