Yin is an intentionally slow paced, slow moving, long-hold asana (postures) practice that targets the deeper, harder to reach tissues of the body : connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones - the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. But above all, Yin yoga is a contemplative, inward journey cultivating patience, presence and acceptance of individual physical and mental limits.

In this class asanas (mainly on the ground) will be held between 2-4 minutes while activating deep slow breaths and soliciting our rest and digest (parasympathetic N.S) system.
