<p>This workshop is both for the dedicated yoga practitioner and the new and curious one. Back to Basics will provide knowledge of the fundamentals of a vinyasa yoga sequence. There are certain essentials that make the asana yoga sequence balanced and beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit. We will go through these essentials in the workshop both by learning why they are important and by experiencing them through the physical yoga practice. Sequencing essentials include: sun salutations, standing poses of externals, neutrals and twists, balancing poses, inversions, backbends, hip openers, forward folds and savasana. There will be time to pause, explore, and investigate all parts of the sequence. All levels are welcome.</p>
