Qoya (pronouced Coy-uh) is a women’s movement practice that is more than an exercise class. It is movement with meaning, as metaphor and as medicine. This embodiment practice is designed to help us remember the physical sensation of truth in our bodies and reclaim our inner knowing, our intuition and our instincts that then can serve as our sacred guide off the mat.

Each Qoya class is like attending a transformational retreat where you come home to yourself and remember what is true for you. And the best part is that there is NO WAY to do Qoya wrong, and the way you know you are doing it right is that it feels good in YOUR body.

More about Qoya!!

Through Qoya we remember that our essence is Wise, Wild, and Free.

Wise, Wild, and Free also reference the types of movements we do in Qoya.

Wise– drawing on the wisdom tradition of yoga. It is the idea that we can access our inner wisdom through movement.

Wild– is our ability to access our wild nature through the creative expression of dance.

Free– is expanding the capacity to feel pleasure in our bodies through feminine, sensual movement.

Qoya is a map that helps us access the wisdom of our bodies by paying attention to what feels good.
