<p>The goal of this class is to help improve body function through a focus on physical alignment, muscular recruitment & activation, and regulated pranayama (breathing).</p>
<p>Unlike a flow class, students will be prompted to mindfully hold static postures for eight to ten breaths; maximizing active muscle engagement and creating a mind, body, & breath connection. The same sequence of poses are explored in each class, providing consistency and muscle-memory. </p>
<p>Most postures will involve the use of props (blocks, straps, etc..) to encourage full muscle engagement. </p>
