Please read below for additional requirements prior to signing up! Increased late cancel and no-show fees apply to this class.
This class will focus on dynamic barbell complexes for strength, endurance, and body awareness. Each class will begin with a mobility-focused warm-up to prepare the body for safe and efficient lifting. Students will develop full body strength and dig deep to develop physical and mental endurance. Learn proper technique, challenge yourself, and experience the empowering benefits of barbell training in a welcoming space.
STRENGTH REQUIREMENT: Prior to signing up for this class, all students MUST be able to lift at least 35 lbs overhead safely.
ADDITIONAL SIGN-UP GUIDELINES: Spots for this class are incredibly limited and demand is high. In light of this discrepancy, the following registration guidelines apply to this class:
- Preference is given to members who have previously attended semi-private training small group sessions. These SGS members will be able sign up for the class beginning 7 days prior to the class date.
- Sign up for other members will open 2 days prior to the class date.
- This class is not available for 2 week trial attendees or Warrior Woman class add-ons due to these class size restrictions.
- Spots are limited, so please do not book until you are absolutely sure that you will be able to attend.
- The Monday 7:30 pm & Tuesday 7:30 pm classes will be the same material. A student can only attend one Monday or Tuesday class of a given week.
- Increased Late Cancel and No-Show Fees: Cancellations within 3 hours of start time will be charged a late cancel fee of $10 per Breaking Barbell class. Cancellations within 30 minutes of class start time will be charged a Late Late Cancel fee of $15. (Because it is extremely hard for another person to be able to attend class with a 30 minute lead time.) If a student is a complete No-Show for this class (and does not contact the instructor personally about an emergency), the No-Show Fee is $20 per class.
Waitlist Policy:
- If the class is full, please sign up for the waitlist. The waitlist will automatically admit members up to 1 hour prior to class start time.
- If a spot becomes available within the 1 hour prior to class, the instructor will create a group message with the entire waitlist and will list the order of members on the waitlist. If the first person on the waitlist can attend, they will reply to the group message and everyone in the message will know that the spot is filled. If the first person cannot attend, the next person on the list should reply whether they can attend or not. In this way, the entire waitlist is notified in real time and can coordinate. If a person on the waitlist cannot attend class within the one hour timeframe, they will not be charged a late cancel fee.
- If you know that you cannot attend class, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being added to class! By remaining on the waitlist, you imply that you would like to be added to class if a spot becomes available.
By signing up for the class, the member acknowledges that they have read and agree to these policies described above.
