A traditional sequence of
postures that links movement and breath while maintaining
concentration. Ashtanga is a set series of poses done in a flowing
Vinyasa style. It works to realign the spine, detoxify the body,
build strength, flexibility, and stamina as well as calm the mind.
It is an athletic yoga practice, but students progress at their own
pace. This class may be a bit of a challenge, but modifications
will be given as necessary.
