Join Garth Hewitt and the Shiva Yoga teaching team for a 108 Sun Salutations Mala.

The sun salutations are traditionally a gratitude practice, a moving meditation that says, ”thank you”. Practicing gratitude helps us to shift the mind’s perspective and let go of identification with the ego. The sun is also the lightest and brightest thing in our world and is a symbol of the lightest and brightest part of ourselves, our inner light. 108 is a very auspicious number. One of the reasons there are 108 mala beads in a mala is that this is a very complete number, representing a full cycle. There are also 108 important Upanishadic texts in Vedanta.

This event is free to all members, students and guests! Bring some friends!
