There is an instruction in yoga that has always spoken to me: perform every posture (asana) with a balance of effort and ease. In martial arts we see the same guidance just said differently: be strong not rigid, be soft not loose.
And so, I invite you to join us in this flowing Vinyasa class and explore what the balance of effort and ease means for you.
What would it be like to be both engaged and relaxed? What does it feel like to put in your best effort without going too far? Where is that place where body, mind, and breath are all working in harmony?
This class is accessible to all levels. We will sometimes hold poses for longer periods of time, but all classes are gradual as they build towards more challenging postures. We always start smoothly, slowly opening as we increase intensity.
