Come join Katie for a weekly classes focusing on strength
training utilizing free weights, resistance bands and weight
bearing positions for postural alignment, control and strength
needed for functional movement in daily life. Learn what resistance
training can do for building muscle mass and strength, maintaining
and improving bone density and for joint health. We will also
incorporate balance exercises to further maximum function and
reduce risk of falls.
Class will be 55 minutes starting with a Pilates warm-up, followed by strength training and ending with a balance series. Class will begin Tuesday, June 14 at 10:00 am. Expect to receive instructional handouts to carry over exercises at home after learning them in class.
Note: Class will not meet on July 5.
