High Beginner 3 level description:
A great course for those who have completed French High-Beginner 2 level or similar. Here is a summary of what students will learn by the end of the High Beginner 3 level:
COMMUNICATION: Talk about a group of people, ask a question about an object, describe an object, understanding a written advertisement, praise the qualities of an object, understand an oral ad, giving your opinion, understand a flyer, be able to claim something, to describe and locate.
GRAMMAR: Indefinite articles (tout, toute, tous, toutes, chaque, quelques), the opposition, the concession (mais), the indefinite pronouns, the interrogative pronoun (lequel), the demonstrative pronouns, the gerund, the nominalization, the pronoun (en), the negation (ne…rien / personne / jamais / plus), simple sentences, complex sentences, indicative/subjunctive, complex sentences with an infinitive preposition, prespositions (of place, of mood, verbal).
VOCABULARY: Human rights, characterization, town planning, children, kitchen accessories, characteristics of an object, shapes, smartphones, advertising, multimedia, art, appreciation, familiar words, claims, work, hobbies, tourism, the ocean.
Next level: French Intermediate 1 or greater.
