<p>This is an all-levels class using therapeutic yoga techniques with resistance bands, foam rollers, massage balls and a variety of other props, coupled with breath control and mindfulness practices to bring the body increased strength, range of motion and muscle balance to correct issues sometimes caused by injury, chronic pain conditions, structural imbalance, or repetitive movement like running and sports. Breath-work will be practiced to increase lung capacity, improve posture, increase energy levels and focus and reduce stress. Through a regular yoga practice, we can improve our functional movement while running, participating in sports or performing everyday tasks like lifting laundry, yard-work or even walking or sitting. A regular practice can also reduce various body issues and injuries caused by over-use and repetitive movement.</p>
