Join Sonia for a gentle, deeply
nourishing yoga asana practice that emphasizes restoration and
inner illumination. By working to release spinal tension and over
time clear patterns of stress, our bodies, minds, and spirits are
restored and rejuvenated.
We’ll use generous propping to
fully support the body for maximum relaxation and presence in the
asanas. Includes seated and supine postures.
The physical practice will intentionally prepare
students for Yoga Nidra, or guided relaxation. Yoga Nidra provides
deep nourishment for the whole being- mind, body and spirit.
Benefits include total relaxation, heal depletion, reduce anxiety,
restore energy, mental clarity, and increased capacity for inward
focus.
This class supports a vast
variety of bodies, abilities, and levels of experience. The
nourishing nature makes it an incredible compliment to our busy
lives and our more active movement practices.
