<p>This is a mat class based on traditional pilates exercises mixed with modern moves that adhere to pilates principles. All classes focus on core strength in a low intensity format and include movement patterns, muscle lengthening and soft tissue care. Modifications and challenges are given to accommodate all levels. Every class is unique: sometimes nothing more than a mat will be required and at other times equipment will be provided to deepen the mind-body connection and to expose students to the many tools Generations has available. With regular attendance, members can look forward to getting stronger, leaner, and decreasing (or preventing) back pain while enjoying the benefits of increased mobility in a welcoming, upbeat, and non-intimidating environment.</p>
