Join us in celebrating the Winter Solstice.
December 21st, is the first day of winter and is celebrated as the winter solstice. This day is both the shortest and darkest day of the year. From December 22nd onwards the days gradually become lighter until the summer solstice.
While the winter season represents the Yin qualities of slowness, reflection, and receptivity, this season also marks the cyclical return to sunlight.
So let's celebrate the darkness just as much as we welcome the return of the sun's radiance, because we need both.
The class will start with 15 minutes of personal intention setting and/or journaling. Then you will be guided through a 60 minute Vin/Yin practice. Vin (Vinyasa) represents light while Yin represents darkness.
