Winter Solstice, the first day of winter, is a sacred turning point in the year when the darkest days come to a close and we welcome the returing of sunlight.
We will begin the evening with gentle movement, followed by a guided meditation and lastly full relaxation ( savasana) to experience sound healing through crystal singing bowls and gongs.
The frequencies of the these instruments are proven to take our brain waves into deep states of relaxation, assisting the body to rest and repair.
Participants are known to have lower levels of stress and anxiety after a sound healing journey.
Wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and water, we will have mats for rent.
Bolsters and blankets will be provided for your comfort- feel free to bring your own props or eye pillows.
