Give yourself time to pause with
your breath as the year ends and a new one is about to begin. New
Year's Eve afternoon is the perfect time to rest deeply, honoring
reflections of the year gone by while refreshing the body and
setting intentions for the new with a focus on the
breath.
The lungs, home to each inhalation and exhalation, are the region in the body where grief and joy are held. The year past has brought hardships and blessings; you'll have time to acknowledge these experiences and release them with your breath, connecting with the underlying bliss found in your heart center.
Gently and lovingly opening the rib cage with supportive chest openers and restorative poses we'll allow the exhalations to release the past and its grief while expanding the feeling of joy with each inhalation preparing to usher in the new year.

This is an all levels workshop with no yoga experienced required.
