<p>Yinsight Yoga is a <em>deep dive</em> into the tradition of Yin Yoga.</p>
<p>Yin is a slower, more passive practice instead of the active practice you experience with a regular asana flow class. </p>
<p>The longer holds allow us to soften and release into the pose and provide an opportunity for reflective meditation.</p>
<p>Each pose creates mild stress on the fascia, tendons and ligaments to get deeper into our muscles bringing greater hydration and flexibility to those areas.</p>
<p>Stagnation and congestion in the connective tissues creates tension and pain and this practice will aim to release some of this.</p>
<p>Togethere we will regulate our breath, calm our bodies and quiet our minds. Gain a deeper level of insight into your yoga practice by balancing with”yin.”</p>
