This slightly slower paced class focuses more on static poses rather than the flowing movements in the vinyasa class. You will be working with the challenge of holding static poses for a few breaths; learning to adjust, breathe, feel and engage your whole body in a conscious and mindful way in each pose. The word hatha can be broken down into ha, meaning "sun" and tha, meaning "moon". Just as these two opposing energies seek balance with each other every day, this class asks you to play with balancing and uniting opposite energies, such as strength and flexibility or effort and ease, in the body and mind.

Suitable for all levels of experience. This is a non-heated class.
