Prana means “breath” or “life force”, while Ayama translates
as “to extend or draw out.” Together, the two translate to “breath
extension or control”. The focus of the breath, or pranayama, is
integral to our yoga practice. In this breath flow class, we will
vary from posture to posture with the focus being on the power of
the breath. Various types of pranayama will be used in this class
to help warm, cool, calm, or excite the body depending on the
chosen asana or flow. Guidance will be offered for each type of
breath and asana performed.
This class has a normal temperature of 74-77F.
This class is open to students of all levels, even new yogis!
