CLASS DESCRIPTION: ALL LEVEL YOGA
This class draws on the varsatility of yoga to provide a unique practice that may include a combination of styles: Hatha-style sequencing, which is slower paced, allows more time spent holding each posture to refine alignment and focus on breath while simultaneously stretching and strengthening the body. Flow-style sequencing can boost metabolism, build lean muscle, and increase core stability with a steady-paced class focused on linking breath to movement. Expect this class to blend the benefits of both!
Instructors are encouraged to be creative in their class design. Each class may provide a variety of standing, balancing, seated and lying postures to balance the strength, flexibility, and energy of the entire body and mind. Sequences may include variations of the familiar Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) or have an entirely unique combination of postures.
