<div>The HED (Human Energy Development) combines Taoist physical exercise with meditative practices. From this perspective, relaxed, soft, and gentle movements are more conducive to energy enhancement and meditation than strenuous exercise. It is common for people to make attempts at meditation but give up because of the volume of thoughts we tend to have, living in this fast-paced world of ours. Taoist meditators of old concluded that the typical mind is like a "restless monkey." Through HED, subtle movements paired with specialized mental focus prepare the mind and body for heightened peaceful energy, and this state of mind-body leads to a natural calming of the mind. As the mind becomes calmer, energy levels tend to increase.</div>

<div>The HED program will assist practitioners in cultivating the capacity to enter deep states of relaxation. In such states, etheric energies are harvested, conserved, stored, and circulated in the body. Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong are related practices that have been developed to enhance deeper states of physical relaxation. However, as the learning and memorizing functions are engaged, relaxation states are not easy to attain/sustain. HED has been developed to work around this dilemma by slowing down and "zooming in" to simple, singular tai chi/qigong postures/movements and being mindful in specialized ways. Through this process, energy is gathered and sensed and then circulated into fascia and connective tissue. This process is then followed by entering more easily into deep meditative states to also foster positive transformations of our personal, collective, and cosmic consciousness as well as our improving complex functions of our bodies.

Concern will also be given to the need to be aware of blood chemistry issues to get deeper benefits from HED. Blood chemistry is related to how we eat, how we drink, how we think, how we breathe and how we avoid environmental toxins. It is important to not undo the benefits derived from HED by ignoring important lifestyle issues. This will incline us toward a more holistic approach to our health, wellness and transformation of Consciousness.</div>
