<p>Ashtanga Yoga is a set series of postures starting with the Primary Series, the body opening. Ashtanga is a rigorous practice where the student works through Bandha, pranayama and asana based the series as created by Sri K Pattabhi Jois.</p>
<p><br />This class will introduce you to the feel and rigors of the Ashtanga Yoga Method, with a set sequence of postures meant to be memorized and practiced in three ways: At home, in a LED class (teacher calls the poses and counts breath) or in MYSORE where students arrive and practice on their own with a teacher present to guide (there are no cues given and every student is working on something different).</p>
