Restorative Yoga, is simply that - restorative. It is the centering of your breath and body - aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. The yoga props are used to support you 100% to encourage letting go of the body, mind and breath. Poses are generally held for 5-7min each.
Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep) is a specific yoga meditation technique that allows you to relax, recharge, rejuvenate and waken your awareness to your higher consciousness.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Have a bolster or pillows, a couple of blankets, eye pillow and blocks or big thick books ready to support your practice at home.
