Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is an immensely powerful meditation and deep relaxation technique. It is one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. Anyone can do it and there is no wrong way to do it.
Yoga Nidra uses a series of body,
breath and awareness techniques to release your own healing
potential. As a guided meditation, you
move through the same brainwave states you would when sleeping, but
you are awake and aware. This helps to restore the balance of
the sympathetic and the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing
the body to produce more of its’ neurochemicals for happiness.
As a result the body, mind complex can return to a more
natural state of completion, emotional integration and physical
balance, and we are able to kinaesthetically experience our SELF
beyond the body and mind.
