In this class you will learn how to find balance and develop flexibility by practicing postures in a still, mindful manner. Yin yoga is great for all levels of practice and is grounded in awareness and harmony of body, mind, and spirit.
In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a longer period of time to target the connective tissues (ie. ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles. The poses are held with the muscles fully relaxed, allowing time and gravity to deepen the stretch and target the fascia.
