<p style="font-weight: 400;">Body Positive or Hatha Yoga is about balance of the sun (ha) and moon (tha). In it, we explore the yoga of activity in preparation for a short meditation near the end of class. Yoga increases flexibility, strength, improves posture and circulation, and releases endorphins which improve mood. Teachings will be a different sequence of poses each time and music will be played. We will slowly ease into postures paying close attention to body awareness (modifying where desired or needed) and to linking breath with movement. Hands-on assistance for postures can be given by the teacher if individual students are okay with this. </p>
