A Restorative Yoga Immersion

Take a moment for yourself and surrender to the splendor of a truly restorative yoga experience. From the moment you walk in the door, you will be deeply cared for. Enjoy the restful and rejuvenating benefits of restorative yoga as you are lovingly placed into a few fully-supported simple postures. Through the use of blankets, bolsters and other props, you will come into stillness and ease. Embark on an inward journey and allow yourself to just be. As the tension dissolves and the sweetness comes forth, you will experience a deep sense of well-being that will stay with you long after you leave the mat.
 
No yoga experience is necessary to benefit from this beautiful practice, just the ability to get down to and up from a mat on the floor. We’ll do the rest.

Yoga for Emotional Wellness Workshop

This workshop focuses on utilizing the practices of yoga, asana, pranayama to enhance your emotional wellbeing. The class is a blend of rhythmic movement, gentle flows, yin poses, restorative postures & mindful breathing exercises to improve mind-body connection and feelings of safety in the body. Alongside the physical practice, Alexa will offer education and resources related to how yoga can benefit our physical and mental wellbeing. Alexa will provide deeper insight into the workings of the central nervous system, and how yoga postures, breathwork, and movement can positively impact individuals’ nervous system. It has been shown that rhythmic movement helps the body to feel safe by lowering fight and flight/sympathetic nervous system activation and turning on our rest and digest/ parasympathetic nervous system. Alexa hopes to guide you to feeling safe, connected and rested in your body!
