“Satsang” is a Sanskrit term that translates to “association with truth.” It's a gathering or meeting where spiritual seekers come together to listen to teachings, discuss philosophical ideas, and meditate. These meetings are often led by a spiritual teacher or guru and aim to foster a sense of community, support personal growth, and deepen one's understanding of spiritual truths.
A typical satsang might include:
-
Teachings: The leader shares wisdom from sacred texts or personal insights.
-
Discussion: Participants engage in meaningful conversations about the teachings.
-
Meditation: Time is set aside for silent meditation or guided practices.
-
Chanting: Group chanting of mantras or hymns to elevate the spirit.
Satsangs can be a powerful way to connect with others on a similar spiritual path and to gain deeper insights into one's own spiritual journey.
Each month will be a different topic with guest speakers and musicians
