Meet your guide: Tamara Louisa is a passionate Ayurvedic
practitioner devoted to helping women reconnect with the natural
rhythms of their bodies and the world around them. With a grounded
yet joyful presence, she guides her clients to live in harmony with
the seasons of life—honoring every phase from maiden to mother to
wise woman. Through gentle guidance, intuitive listening, and
ritual-based living, she empowers women to rediscover their center,
cultivate vibrant health, and embody the joy and passion that
already lives within them. Tamara works with women 1:1, hosts
Ayurvedic ritual gatherings, seasonal cleanses, and health and
wellness workshops. Tamara is an Ayurvedic Practitioner with a
masters in Ayurveda, Certified 200hr Yoga teacher through the
Sivananda Lineage, and has studied extensively in
India.
Description: Come learn strategies to help restore your pelvic floor and core. Join Dr. Ashlie Emert, pelvic floor physical therapist, yoga teacher and mom. In this interactive workshop you will learn how to screen yourself for diastasis recti, how to correctly engage your core postpartum and what common pelvic floor symptoms can mean. We will also cover what you can do to help prevent diastasis recti from worsening, how to help alleviate common pelvic floor symptoms (leaking or pelvic pain), techniques to reduce mom pouch and so much more! There will also be an anonymous “ask anything” question session so that you can be sure to get answers to all of your questions in a supportive environment. Leave feeling empowered and equipped with tools to restore your core and pelvic floor.
This workshop is for anyone postpartum, even if it has been years since you have given birth, it is not too late to restore your pelvic floor and core!
Bio:
Dr. Ashlie Emert, DPT, is a pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapist, who specializes in pre and postpartum conditions and a mom to baby Leo. She has also been a certified yoga teacher for over a decade. Ashlie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York City. Prior to this, She lived abroad in Milan, Italy where she completed a Master’s program in Sports Nutrition and Fitness at l’Universita’ degli studi di Milano and furthered her studies to become a certified yoga teacher in India. She believes her patients thrive with her multifaceted approach to PT, which includes a mix of manual therapy and exercise, often integrating concepts and postures from Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga. Ashlie has recently been distinguished as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is also recognized as a certified specialist in treatment of pregnant and postpartum women (CAPP-Ob).
Community Acupuncture offers high-quality, affordable treatments in a group setting. Sessions will take place in one of Aditi’s spacious and peaceful yoga room, where patients will be individually treated in supportive and restorative Yoga postures, on a mat, on the floor for about one hour. There are many props and blankets to ensure comfort, and ambient relaxing music will be played. This therapeutic setting offers individuals an opportunity to relax, renew and receive the proven method of Chinese Medicine’s Balance Method.
Andy Hall, L.Ac., LMT, is a licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist and he loves his work. Through curated Acupuncture sessions, he offers this comprehensive and ancient medicine to his patients, meeting the dynamic needs of each individual. He’s an intuitive and attentive practitioner, who’s passionate about offering affordable acupuncture to his community at Aditi.

Jennifer is a certified Yoga instructor with a certification in Yoga philosophy and 14 years of experience as a former bodyworker. She is a published author on healing and resilience after traumatic brain injury and is a Duke Health-trained Health and Well-being Coach. Her teaching combines movement, mindfulness, reflection and philosophy in a way that feels both grounding and inspiring. Jennifer is passionate about helping students deepen their practice with clarity, compassion, and courage.
