Join Maggie to celebrate The Spring Equinox with a mind, body
and soul rejuvenating sound bath!
Spring Equinox marks the moment day and night are equal, and the
perfect time to shift from winter’s quiet introspection toward
outward growth and new beginnings. The energy of the equinox is
ideal for goal setting and planting seeds for what you wish to
manifest in the coming year. Immerse yourself in an energy
cleansing and renewing sound bath, with the intention of shedding
old patterns and habits to make room for new growth in the spring
season!
Maggie will incorporate breath-work, guided meditation and
affirmations to deepen your mindfulness practice, before relaxing
in your favorite shavasanna position to enjoy the sound bath. Wear
comfortable clothing and feel free to bring your own eye covering
and/or a pillow.
Spring drew on and a greenness grew over those brown beds, whitch freashed daily, suggested the thouight that Hope traversed them at night and left each morning brighter traces of her steps.

Welcome the change of season from Winter to Spring with this soothing workshop that combines restorative yoga and massage. Please join Iris and Darla Friday, March 20, 2026 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Darla will guide you through the restorative practice. Both Iris, a licensed massage therapist and Reiki practitioner, and Darla will provide hands on touch to reduce muscle tension. Props will be used for support in these longer held postures, with the intention of calming the nervous system and quieting the mind. Essential oils will be used for additional balancing and relaxation. This workshop will be a deeply nourishing and tranquil experience that is the perfect self care activity to honor the Vernal Equinox.
Was 2025 a hard year for you? Did you feel your peace disturbed, personally, politically, or in some other way? Come and experience the healing power of the peacemaking circle. Traditionally used in indigenous communities for reconciliation and connecting as a community, peacemaking circles have been used in the criminal justice system, in schools and classrooms, by families and communitites, to facilitate healing, create connection, and deal with difficult issues. The unique protocols of the circle quickly create a feeling of trust and safety among participants, which allows them to feel comfortable sharing deep truths in a vulnerable way.
This circle will be focused around the topic of PEACE: How to find it, what makes finding it hard, and, hopefully, having an experience of peace in and through community. It will be led by Lara Simmons, an RYT200 yoga teacher with a Masters in Teaching from Seattle University. She was taught to lead circles by Saroeum Phong, a pioneer in the field of restorative justice utilizing the Peacemaking Circle Process.
