She believes her patients thrive with her multifaceted approach to PT, which includes a mix of manual therapy and exercise, often integrating concepts and postures from Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga. Ashlie has recently been distinguished as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and is also recognized as a certified specialist in treatment of pregnant and postpartum women (CAPP-Ob).

Sivananda Lineage, and has studied extensively in

Dr. Ashlie Emert, DPT, is a pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapist, who specializes in pre and postpartum conditions and a mom to baby Leo. She has also been a certified yoga teacher for over a decade. Ashlie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York City. Prior to this, She lived abroad in Milan, Italy where she completed a Master’s program in Sports Nutrition and Fitness at l’Universita’ degli studi di Milano and furthered her studies to become a certified yoga teacher in India. She believes her patients thrive with her multifaceted approach to PT, which includes a mix of manual therapy and exercise, often integrating concepts and postures from Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa yoga.
