Support & Soften: Deep Breaths with Basic Moves

In this workshop, we
will begin by focusing on basic move, Deep Breathing.
It’s the first of the
Seven Basic Moves we will explore. To make a change in the way we
experience our physical bodies, our emotions and our thoughts we
must first feel our breath. It is key for guiding us into feeling
every part of our being. The other six basic moves are: expanding
the ribs, active feet and hands, telescoping the ribs, tailbone
lengthening down, wrapping the shoulder blades and relaxing the
neck. All seven of these basic moves will support and soften you on
your mat and in your life.
We will explore and feel
all of them in this workshop. The seven basic moves are for all
levels. Beginners learn them and intermediate to advanced students
continue to learn and use them.
We will close the
workshop with a luxurious, relaxing Yoga Nidra.
