Intro to Kundalini Yoga

Kat is so excited to bring her knowledge about Kundalini Yoga to you!

In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn what Kundalini is, it's origins, what it is about, energy centers (chakras), and kriyas. This is an introduction to Kundalini so that you can dip your toes into this immersive, expansive, and incredible practice.

Kundalini Yoga is often called the yoga of awareness or the yoga of the mind. It's roots are in Hathaway and Raja Yoga. This class will go through Kriyas, which are a sequence of exercises that are done for a specific period of time and repetitions in order to activate and balance energy centers by hormone production.

Each of the endocrine glands are responsible for hormone production and connected to energy centers (chakras). This practice will help you free up energetic blocks and open up your perspective.

Expect breath, rhythm, movement, and chanting. Kundalini Yoga will take you out of your comfort zone so that you can expend your conscience and open up your fullest potential.

Join us for 120 minutes of expansion and creation through Kundalini Yoga.
