The full moon is a time when energy peaks, then releases, similar to that of a huge, cosmic sigh. During a full moon, universal energy is very powerful and intense. The full moon gives you the gift of and is a perfect time for releasing something that no longer serves you; orletting go of something that you no longer need in your life; or an opportunity to let go of an aspect of yourself that you have outgrown.

Committing yourself to a full moon ritual is a powerful way to invoke this.

Releasing. Letting go. Unburdening yourself. Purging that which is not feel-good for you.

Through this action, you are allowing yourself to get rid of the old and celebrate your emergence, by stepping out of an old way of being / an old identity / behaviour / attitude / relationship / frame of mind / situation that is not in vibrational alignment of who You are, and that is no longer serving to your truest, most authentic Self.

The ritual marks this inner transformation in a structured, ceremonial way.

In the first portion of the workshop attendees will be taken through interactive group exercises to explore and debunk existing patterns, harmful programming + beliefs that are held around their worthiness to live life on their own terms, their connection to their authentic self, voice and expression, what obstacles are standing in their way, what situations or people they’re holding onto that are no longer serving them and their purpose and so on.

In the second portion of the workshop attendees will be taken through a healing and restorative yoga practice. The sequences are designed to release, open up, twist out and create space in your body, connecting you back to your breath with each movement, and bringing you to a place of ease and stillness, calming the mind and bringing your body into the state of the parasympathetic system. This practice will lead to an increase in functional mobility of the deeper connective tissues, encouraging flexibility specifically in areas like the hips, lower spine, pelvis, chest and shoulders — where our bodies have a tendency of storing stress. This is the ultimate way to unwind, decompress, release and restore.

The purpose of this workshop is to help build community by gathering with other women and mamas and sharing your experiences, hearts, story's and wisdom with one another.

In this workshop space will be held for you to journey inward and connect with other women, yourself and baby. It will allow you to connect with your evolving and changing body as it makes space and makes a home for baby.

You can expect to recieve relative prenatal education, so that you can leave with a couple tools that will support you and have you feeling more informed and empowered during your pregnancy, labor and conscious motherhood.

Odessa fell in love with ceremony a few years ago when she went to her first women's circle at a time when she was trying to find her path in life. Odessa also had the privilege of attending prenatal yoga classes when she was pregnant with her second child.

The connections she made in ceremony and in prenatal yoga were life-changing for me. This is why she feels so passionately about offering this blend of ceremony with prenatal education.

Odessa believe's it is our birth right to have knowledge that is based in the wise woman ways - meaning information that would have, in the past, been past down from the older woman in our communities. Information that is based in physiological birth and not in fear.

Anja, the Creatrix of Anamaya Wellness will be there to infuse this experience with reiki, prenatal yoga/movement and breathwork.

Anja has such an admiration for the female body, and all of the magical things it is capable of. Anja's work is deeply rooted in empowering the Divine Feminine through education and community.

Sensual yoga helps you develop heightened sense of bodily awareness, sense of self and confidence, increased sensuality, comfort with and ease in YOUR body. For too long have our bodies been shamed, taken advantage of, dishonoured and disrespected. We have internalized these truths as our own, and walk through this life in accordance with that embodiment. When we learn to TRUST OUR BODIES again • everything shifts. When a woman finds wholeness, by loving each individual layer of herself — she heals — and therefore heals the world.

In this yoga experience Anja creates a safe space for women to dive into, feel and express their inner emotional landscape.
