The Choreography Lab is a rare and intentional space created for adults ages 21 through 65, where artistry is shaped not only by technique, but by life experience, emotional intelligence, and embodied awareness.
Under the direction of Laura Armenta—participants engage in a guided creative process that is both structured and exploratory.
This is not a traditional dance class.
It is a creative laboratory.
A space where movement becomes language, and experience becomes material.

Participants will be guided through a refined choreographic process that integrates:

This monthly workshop explores the foundations of Bachata while honoring its beautiful Dominican roots.
Participants will learn essential techniques, including basic steps, hip movement, turns, arm styling, musicality, footwork, and posture — all through the lens of feminine expression and social dance readiness.
