Calling all goblins, ghouls, witches and wizards! Join us for a fun Halloween theme kid's yoga class!
Yoga is a great tool for everybody at every age! It builds confidence, strength and self-awareness in children. During this 45 minute class, we will move our bodies and calm our minds in a fun, creative way, while we go on a storytime adventure.
Best for ages 5-11
The heaviest karma is when we hold to resentment, anger, disappointments, and unrealized expectations. We have the greatest suffering when we repeatedly cling to the same old patterns. This ritual of forgiveness is aimed at all others in your life AND yourself! What you do to another, you do to yourself only more so. Self-criticism is linked to the need for external approval. We need to bring the power for approval inward, bringing it to our higher self.
If you want to find happiness, you need to forgive! Otherwise you are frozen karmically. “The ghosts of the past (the emotions) want to live again.” If you don’t forgive, you’re locking yourself into duality: “I am good; you are bad.” If it is true that you were hurt, it will be much easier for you to forgive than for the other person to ask for forgiveness. Doing this ritual of forgiveness can release your attachments to the other’s specific reaction to your request of forgiveness. You can add the “mental bow” to the other person if the karma is still stick
During this practice, you will learn the Kriya technique of forgiveness. We will practice one time together, and you will be provided with a handout for future practice.
