A gong bath is a deeply immersive, meditative experience where you are surrounded by the powerful and soothing vibrations of a gong. During a gong bath, you lie comfortably on a mat while the sound practitioner plays a large gong, filling the room with a symphony of rich, resonant tones and vibrations. These sounds are believed to promote healing at both a physical and emotional level.
The gong's vibrations help induce a state of relaxation, reducing stress and bringing balance to your mind, body, and spirit. As you lie in stillness, the waves of sound help clear mental clutter, calm your nervous system, and allow for emotional release. Each person’s experience is unique, and many report feeling rejuvenated, peaceful, and deeply centered after a session.
Whether you're looking to unwind from daily stresses, explore mindfulness, or embark on a journey of self-discovery, a gong bath provides a sanctuary for your inner well-being.
This is a creative and playful yoga workshop designed to build strength, mobility, and stability in dynamic, unexpected ways. Rather than serving simply as props or modifications, blocks become an integral part of the practice — increasing muscle engagement, sharpening body awareness, and creating new pathways into familiar poses.
Through thoughtfully sequenced, dynamic movement, this workshop:
-
Challenges the upper body, deep core, and legs while inviting the body to work in fresh and often surprising ways
-
Encourages intentional, supported transitions into and out of postures
-
Builds strength that feels both powerful and sustainable
-
Uses blocks as an extension of the body to amplify muscular engagement, refine alignment, and cultivate clarity and confidence in movement
Students can expect to experience familiar yoga poses from a new perspective, build strength in creative and engaging ways, and leave with practical tools they can integrate into their regular practice.
Best suited for practitioners with some yoga experience who enjoy exploring, learning, and challenging themselves in a supportive environment.
Spring Detox Workshop - Supporting the Liver & Gallbladder
Spring is the time to OPEN, CLEANSE and PURIFY.This is the time of year we need to support our LIVER and GALL BLADDER to relax and discharge, creating more freedom and fluidity in our body and life. Signs of imbalance include:
Stiff muscles and joints, especially after rising; regular cramping or twitching; premenstrual tension & painful menstruation; hot flushes; headaches and migraines; digestive issues including nausea, belching, constipation, diarrhoea; eye problems such as with vision & cataracts; impatience, irritability; nail abnormalities; repressed emotional and creative expression.
The workshop will focus on a yoga practice to stimulate the smooth flow of energy (prana, Ki, chi) through the Liver & Gall Bladder meridians (energy channels). We will use acupressure points to alleviate common symptoms of imbalance and touch on how food and lifestyle can support the healthy functioning of the LIVER & GALLBLADDER.
