Baza Dance Studio's Salsa Intro
course is for absolute beginners and those new to Salsa
dancing.

Class dates: October 31, November 7, 14, 21, 28 and December 5. Registered students commit to the entire course (all 6 weeks)
Class takes place on Mondays
from 6:15 - 7:15pm
Cost: $135 +
GST per person
Ultimate Access Members have
access to this course but must commit to the entire 6
weeks.
*This is a partner dancing class but students are not
required to register with a partner. All students will be partnered
up with a fellow student or one of our friendly helpers. Dancers
have the option to rotate during the class so everyone has a chance
to dance with everyone.
This cumulative Beginner Salsa course is formatted with
complete beginners in mind. Students will learn the basics and
essential foundation figures of On1 (“L.A.Style”) Salsa. Each class
consists of warm-up/footwork practice, partnerwork
learning/practice and combo learning and practice. Throughout the
class your knowledgeable instructors will provide important
one-on-one feedback during practice songs and answer questions as
they arise.
What is Salsa?
Salsa is a dance and musical style with Caribbean and African roots and it includes a mixture of various Rhythms such as Chachacha, Son Montuno, Guajiras and Guarachas. It is known to be fun and spicy, and today you can find a Salsa scene in almost any part of the world!
