In today’s fast-paced world, stress, anxiety, and mental chatter can accumulate without pause, leaving us feeling disconnected from our own center. Gong Bath Meditation is designed to be your sacred sanctuary—a calming, restorative experience that slows the mind, relaxes the body, and gently stimulates the vagus nerve to promote a profound sense of well-being.
This experience is held for anyone seeking a moment of deep relaxation, stress relief, or a genuine reconnection with themselves. Whether you are a seasoned meditator, a complete beginner, or simply curious about the healing power of sound, you are welcome here. This is a space of “no-pressure” presence.
Your journey begins with a brief, grounded introduction to the science of sound and vibration. We will then transition into a guided toning practice—a simple but powerful way to use your own resonance to settle your energy.
From there, you will be invited to lie back and be cozily supported with blankets and bolsters as you immerse yourself in a 55-minute sound bath. This session features a rare and powerful collective of instruments:
-
2 Planetary Gongs and 1 Wind Gong to ground and expand your energy.
-
2 Vietnamese Trung Gongs for deep, resonant clearing.
-
A Full Set of Himalayan Singing Bowls to wrap you in a cocoon of harmony.
The Heart of the Experience
Beyond the deep relaxation, you will leave with more than just a memory of peace. During this session, you will:
-
Experience the Science: Feel the tangible effects of vibrational frequency on your nervous system as it shifts from “fight or flight” into deep restoration.
-
Learn Simple Tools: Discover easy toning techniques you can use at home to support your own relaxation whenever life feels loud.
-
Return to Balance: Leave the studio with a renewed sense of clarity, presence, and vibrational alignment.
This monthly workshop is designed to complement the weekly Tai Chi classes by offering the time and space to go deeper into practice. In a longer, unhurried format, students are able to fully explore Tai Chi principles, refine movement quality, and develop a solid personal practice they can take home and continue on their own.
Each workshop begins with a comprehensive warm-up including flexibility, joint mobility, balance, and strength training, preparing the body for deeper movement exploration. We then dive into focused Tai Chi practice drawn from Yang Style Tai Chi, Chen Style Tai Chi, and Ba Gua, with each month highlighting a specific theme or system.
First Workshop Focus: Yang Style 24 Form
The first workshops in the series will focus on the Yang Style 24 Form, making it an ideal entry point for beginners as well as a valuable deepening experience for continuing students.
Participants will:
-
Learn and refine movements from the Yang Style 24 Form
-
Explore smooth, silky, soft, and gentle transitions that are also resilient and powerful
-
Integrate breath, movement, and intention into a cohesive practice
-
Develop strength, stability, coordination, and body awareness
For students attending the weekly Tai Chi classes, this workshop offers an opportunity to slow down, clarify details, and deepen embodied understanding. For those new to Tai Chi or unable to attend weekday classes, it serves as a complete and accessible introduction.
The extended 2.5-hour format allows the body and mind to fully experience Tai Chi’s unique qualities—flow, grounding, relaxation, and inner strength—creating space for learning, repetition, and integration in a way that shorter classes cannot.
Each monthly workshop builds upon previous material while also including review and foundational practice, so newcomers are always welcome.
All levels welcome. No prior experience required.
Art and Arcana: Create Your Way Through the Tarot!
Have you ever felt creatively blocked, uncertain of your own abilities, or disconnected from your inner voice?
Or maybe you’re looking for a creative and reflective experience that helps you reconnect with your intuition, confidence, and personal power.
This workshop offers a gentle and approachable way into tarot through art.
Together, we will explore The Magician — a card that symbolizes creativity, transformation, focused intention, and the ability to bring inner vision into reality. Traditionally, The Magician stands between the spiritual and physical worlds, reminding us that we already carry the tools we need to create, communicate, and grow.
Through guided reflection, symbolism, painting, collage, journaling, and discussion, participants will create their own personal interpretation of The Magician card while exploring themes of intuition, self-expression, imagination, and empowerment.
Why do I need
this?
Life moves quickly, and we don’t often give ourselves time to pause, create, and reflect.
This class combines art and tarot to bring together play, inner wisdom, and meaningful connection with others.
The Magician reminds us that creativity itself can be transformative — and that sometimes the tools we are searching for already exist within us.
Who is this
for?
This is for:
- Beginners who are curious about tarot
- Creative individuals who enjoy painting or journaling
- Anyone going through a transition or looking for a fresh start
- Anyone who wants a calm, supportive space to reflect
No experience with tarot or art is needed.
What can I expect to happen?
- A short guided meditation
- Discussion on which elements make up the Fool card, the traditional symbolism and mythology
- An introduction to the meaning of the card
- Time to paint, color, and/or collage your own interpretation of The Fool
- Journaling and reflection
- Group insight and connection
What will I learn / get out of this?
- A personal understanding of The Fool card
- Fun! A time to play with art and creativity
- Insight into your own journey and current life path
- A sense of calm, connection, and inspiration
What’s included?
- A small journal
- Watercolor paper

Sound baths are a gentle, replenishing experience that help bring your mind & body into a deep state of relaxation through sound & vibration. We will start off on our mats with mindful breathing & body awareness practice to center the body & mind before sinking into a guided savasana that readies you for the activation of several different soothing instruments.
By accessing these deep states of relaxation via vibration & sound we allow the body to drop down into the Alpha and Theta, and often times, Delta brainwave frequencies, moving out of “fight or flight” & into “rest & digest”. These frequencies return us to our parasympathetic nervous system, the state where all healing occurs. This is why the experience will not only leave you feeling centered & grounded but also rejuvenated & replenished.
