This Spring, join Kirsten Ahern, Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Founder of Path Wellbeing for a One-Day Ayurvedic Immersion in person at Bhakti Yoga DC in Washington DC.
During this deeply immersive experience, you will:
- Learn about Ayurveda and the Ayurvedic constitutional types (doshas).
- Enjoy peer personal constitutional (doshic) assessments guided by Kirsten (aka, learn your dosha!)
- Flow through Ayurvedic seasonal and daily rhythms and practices.
- Learn the principles of Ayurvedic nutrition and how to make constitutionally-aligned food choices.
- Enjoy a light seasonal Ayurvedic lunch & snacks.
- Learn the techniques of Abhyanga, or self oil-massage and aromatherapy.
- Enjoy a deeply supportive restorative yoga and yoga nidra practice (based on the energetic healing marma points) to help reset the nervous system and replenish the mind and body.
- Feel completely nurtured, restored and rejuvenated.
This one-day program is designed to be fully immersive - NO POWERPOINT OR MINDLESS INSTRUCTION. You will learn by doing and experiencing the teachings and practices of Ayurveda in mind, body and spirit. At the end of the immersion, you will feel empowered to adopt the wellbeing rhythms of Ayurveda into your life in a way that works for you.
WHAT YOU NEED: Journal; pen or pencil; loose, comfortable clothing; bathing suit & towel (for abhyanga).
