Monthly Mentor Check in!

Come say hi to your coordinator or fellow YTT faculty, check in with the sangha and let us know how things are going in teacher training and in life!

This format allows fot you to not only receive mentorship as needed, but to also connect and grow with each other -- and learn from your sangha.

You will be need to attend at least 1 per quarter during your training.

If attending on zoom, please use the normal EYTT zoom link in the classroom.

This seventy-five minute “Thai Malai & Vibe” workshop presents an exotic sense of Thai culture which uses Malai, a flower garland, to symbolize love, gratitude, respect and goodwill.

Students will experience making a basic Thai Malai by themselves. Through this process, the students will have an opportunity to practice mindfulness or mediation with intention setting, focusing on love and gratefulness in life toward themselves and others. Thai Malai is a part of a mindful activity focusing on a sense of touching and feeling, shifting focus away from monkey mind and rising thoughts. During the workshop, students will also be guided to practice Pranayama, breath work, and experience sound vibrations with several instruments. These are all the tools to help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and relax one’s whole being.

Materials for making Thai Malai will be prepared for each student.

Cost :: $40

You can complete your training in one of two ways depending on your lifestyle, budget and needs:

• 12 week Intensive program - get it done all at once (Fall Session starts Sept 28, 2025)
• 1-3 years Extended program - study at your own pace (Fall Session starts Sept 26-28, 2025)

Both programs have the same comprehensive curriculum, experienced faculty, ongoing mentorship, and strong community.
