Dear Expecting Mothers,
* Imagine having the energy and clarity to care for your child after the delivery.
*Imagine minimizing brain fog and the guilt that comes with it.
*Imagine being able to care for your body in the first 40 days post-delivery so your body can support you for the next many years of motherhood.
During childbirth a child and the mother, both are reborn. Their bodies are extremely fragile. While the mother devotes her every waking moment to caring for the baby, she can forget to care for herself.
In Indian culture, this is not a time for the mother to be a martyr or feel guilty. It is the time for her to unapologetically rest her body and mind.
As per Ayurveda (Ancient Indian Medicine), when mothers take certain precautions during the 40 days sacred time after childbirth they can minimize the occurrence of several physical and mental health issues in their future years like back pain, anxiety, and depression.
Join me as I share time-tested postpartum tools and techniques for new mothers.
In this workshop, you will
- Experience a proven sleep hack to reduce brain fog - Yoga Nidra
- Learn important precautions for the New Mother in the first 40 days
- Learn simple tips to prevent colic in your baby
- Watch a demo of a simple and nutritious recipe for postpartum ease
- Learn how partners can support the new mother
This workshop is ideal for moms who are in their third trimester. You can bring your child along as long as the partner can watch the child while the mother experiences the sleep hack.
Partners/ support team is highly encouraged to attend.
What you will learnHappy Baby Signs' Introductory
Workshop introduces basic baby signs that are based on American
Sign Language (ASL) and is designed for expectant parents and
parents with hearing babies who range in age from birth to 18
months old. The workshop is an hour and a half long during which
information on the latest research on the benefits of signing with
babies will be discussed. Parents are taught useful tips on how to
train their babies to sign. Fun activities and songs will show you
how easy it can be to integrate these signs into your every day
routine and jump-start your child's verbal skills. This is a great
way to see what infant signing is all about without a major
commitment. Please join us with or without your baby!

Stop guessing what your baby is trying to tell you and start spending more time fulfilling your child's specific needs. Baby Sign Language gives parents the opportunity to communicate with children long before babies can verbalize their wants and needs. Research studies show that signing with babies accelerates language acquisition, reduces frustration and aggressive behavior, and as children mature, results in a greater interest in reading. Out of all the wonderful benefits of baby sign language, the most important benefit of all is that signing will greatly deepen the bond between you and your child.
This 6-week series class is a fun opportunity for you to build
your signing vocabulary with themes like mealtime, animals, colors,
