Sex and Intimacy during
pregnancy and postpartum
Pregnancy and Postpartum are times of unparalleled transition which
can impact sex, intimacy and relationships. Are you worried about
sex during pregnancy or after birth? Does sex feel different to how
it felt before? Are you experiencing more body consciousness? Are
you feeling too tired, anxious or touched out? Are you experiencing
differences in your sex drive? Are leaky or tender breasts making
sex uncomfortable? In this class we discuss all this and more. As a
Somatic Sex Educator I offer a safe space for an open, supportive
dialogue in service to helping you express and resolve both
emotional and physical impediments to intimacy.

Stop guessing what your baby is trying to tell you and start spending more time fulfilling your child's specific needs. Baby Sign Language gives parents the opportunity to communicate with children long before babies can verbalize their wants and needs. Research studies show that signing with babies accelerates language acquisition, reduces frustration and aggressive behavior, and as children mature, results in a greater interest in reading. Out of all the wonderful benefits of baby sign language, the most important benefit of all is that signing will greatly deepen the bond between you and your child.
This 6-week series class is a fun opportunity for you to build
your signing vocabulary with themes like mealtime, animals, colors,
family, bedtime, and more! We've split 18 sessions into three
different six-day series named after the primary colors: Red,
Yellow, and Blue. No need to take them in order. Just dive in and
start learning now.
Our Introductory Workshop is recommended prior to taking a
playgroup series unless you are already familiar with American Sign
Language (ASL).

Birthing Naturally: Partner Supported Childbirth
Birthing
Naturally classes provide objective and non-judgmental class
instruction on the foundation of evidence-based research. They
prepare the expectant person and partner by encouraging them to
feel empowered, make informed decisions based on education and
scientific research, trust in one’s body, and surrender to the
natural unfolding of labor and birth. Classes are taught with a
light-hearted, caring, and evidence-based approach. Incorporated
with simple and thorough techniques that enable the birthing person
to channel one’s strength, confidence, and relaxed disposition when
preparing for labor and birth.

What you will learnHappy Baby Signs' Introductory
Workshop introduces basic baby signs that are based on American
Sign Language (ASL) and is designed for expectant parents and
parents with hearing babies who range in age from birth to 18
months old. The workshop is an hour and a half long during which
information on the latest research on the benefits of signing with
babies will be discussed. Parents are taught useful tips on how to
train their babies to sign. Fun activities and songs will show you
how easy it can be to integrate these signs into your every day
routine and jump-start your child's verbal skills. This is a great
way to see what infant signing is all about without a major
commitment. Please join us with or without your baby!
