Micheon, a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and Balanced Body Comprehensive Instructor, will guide you every step of the way. Healing Breath Circle

Breathwork is an active meditation technique. The style of breathwork we will practice together is an active, 3-part breath that assists stuck energy and emotions to break up and release. Much like our brain can store memories, every time we experience trauma or stuff our emotions, they can become stored in our muscles and nervous system.

The breath gives the mind and the body something to focus on so that the “active mind” can relax and allow the subconscious to be explored. Breathwork is helpful for processing anything you feel is causing distress in your life. Things like grief, negative self-talk, shame, guilt, anger, + anxiety. It’s also supportive of releasing energy tied to stress, depression, limiting beliefs, and trauma. Breathwork can be used to cultivate new energy like trusting your intuition, living heart-centered, or connecting to creativity.

About Courtney:

Courtney Morris is a mother, counselor, yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, ayurvedist and postpartum doula. I view the sensations and feelings our body sends us as messages of what needs some attention. The body is constantly in communication with our mind, and our mind with the body. Healing happens when we are able to tune into the body's messages and truly listen. Processing difficult emotions isn’t a once in a lifetime experience. Because of this, my hope for each client is that I am able to teach them tools they can use beyond our time together. I am incredibly passionate about helping others feel at ease in their body & mind as they navigate their path of learning to tune-in to their SELF.
